Terms of use

These terms apply when you use magnetlings.com, our social pages and, once released, the Magnetlings game (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

1. Who can use the Services

Anyone can visit this website. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please have a parent or guardian review these terms with you; they are responsible for purchases made on your device.

2. The game

Magnetlings is in development, so features, levels, prices and release dates may change. When the game is released, it will be licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, under these terms and the terms of the app store you download it from (Apple App Store or Google Play). Where those store terms conflict with these, the store terms apply to your download and purchases.

3. Purchases

Purchases such as the Full Adventure are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms. Refund requests are handled by the store where you bought the game, following their policies and the law where you live. Purchases are tied to your store account and can be restored on another device signed in to the same account.

4. Fair play

Please don't hack, cheat, reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the game or this website, interfere with how they run, or use them to break the law or harm anyone. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

5. Our content

Magnetlings, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, Cosmic, the Nulls, the Flux Cores, the Tinkerworks, and all art, music, video, text and code on the Services belong to Magnetlings and are protected by intellectual property laws. You're welcome to share our official videos and links, and creators are welcome to stream and make videos of the game once it's out. For anything else, such as merchandise or commercial use, please ask at legal@magnetlings.com.

6. Things you send us

If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the Services without owing you anything. Please don't send us anything confidential.

7. Third-party services

The Services link to and embed content from other companies, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky and app stores. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for their content.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't make warranties about them, including that they will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Magnetlings will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the game in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms as the project grows. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll give notice on the website or in the game. We may change or stop parts of the Services, and you can stop using them at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Magnetlings is based, except where the law of your country of residence gives you protections that can't be overridden.
